Pricing Policy

At Altitude Global Logistics, we understand that every shipment has different requirements. Our pricing depends on the type of service, shipment details, destination, transportation method, and other costs involved in moving goods safely and efficiently.

Our aim is to provide customers with clear pricing information before they confirm a shipment.

1. How Our Pricing Works

AGL provides quotations based on the details shared by the customer and the services requested. Pricing may vary for air freight, ocean freight, customs clearance, domestic and international courier, inland transportation, warehousing, and other logistics services.

The final cost will depend on the specific requirements of each shipment and the terms mentioned in the applicable quotation.

2. Factors Affecting Prices

Shipping charges may vary depending on:

  • Origin and destination of the shipment.
  • Actual weight, volumetric weight, dimensions, and cargo volume.
  • Mode of transportation, including air, sea, road, or courier.
  • Type of goods and any special handling requirements.
  • Customs clearance and documentation requirements.
  • Fuel surcharges and carrier rate changes.
  • Storage, handling, loading, unloading, and delivery requirements.
  • Remote-area delivery, demurrage, detention, and other applicable charges.

The charges applicable to a shipment will depend on the services required and the conditions of the booking.

3. Quotations and Price Validity

All quotations are prepared using the information provided by the customer and the rates available at the time of preparation.

Where applicable, the quotation will mention its validity period. Rates may change after the validity period expires or if shipment details, carrier rates, service availability, or other relevant costs change before the booking is confirmed.

Customers are encouraged to review the quotation and clarify any questions before confirming their shipment.

4. Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply if the shipment requirements change or if costs arise that were not included in the original quotation.

These may include storage fees, customs inspection charges, additional handling, re-delivery, waiting time, demurrage, detention, or charges imposed by third-party service providers.

Where reasonably practicable, AGL will inform the customer of additional charges before they are incurred. Such charges will be handled according to the accepted quotation or service agreement and applicable law.

5. Taxes and Government Charges

Unless specifically stated in the quotation, prices do not include customs duties, import taxes, government fees, or other statutory charges that may apply to a shipment.

Responsibility for these amounts will be determined by the agreed service terms and applicable law.

6. Payment Terms

Payment deadlines, advance payments, credit arrangements, and accepted payment methods will be communicated through the relevant quotation, invoice, or written agreement.

Customers are requested to make payments within the agreed period. Any changes to payment arrangements must be confirmed by AGL in writing.

Overdue payments may be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

7. Promotional Offers and Special Rates

AGL may occasionally provide special rates or promotional offers for selected services.

These offers will be subject to the conditions communicated at the time, including any applicable booking period, destination, shipment limits, service availability, and exclusions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, promotional rates do not include additional services, taxes, duties, or other charges that are not specified in the offer.

8. Changes to Confirmed Bookings

Any change to the shipment’s weight, dimensions, destination, pickup location, delivery address, or service requirements may affect the final price.

AGL will communicate relevant price adjustments and handle them according to the agreed booking terms and applicable law.

9. Pricing Errors

If a customer identifies a possible error in a quotation or invoice, they should contact AGL for clarification.

We will review the relevant details and communicate any necessary correction. For confirmed bookings, any price correction will be handled in accordance with the accepted agreement and applicable law.

10. Request a Quotation

To receive an accurate quotation, customers should provide complete shipment details, including the origin, destination, cargo description, weight, dimensions, preferred transportation method, and any special requirements.

Providing accurate information helps AGL assess the shipment and communicate the relevant charges.
